The Autumn Congress may decide:

Let's liberalise the foreign exchange market

We believe in the forces of the free market to ensure prosperity and freedom to all. Hence we are open-minded and have an optimistic approach to the new technological solutions delivered by the free market. We believe the foreign exchange and money market should be liberalised to create viable alternatives to the currencies controlled by centralised institutions, as it will e.g. secure the opportunity of economic growth and monetary stability in countries plagued by hyperinflation. We will be frontrunners on digital technologies in order to secure social and economic benefits for millions of people.

Considering that:

  • A well-functioning currency controlled by a politically independent central bank is possible and can produce low and stable inflation rates.

  • Several countries are plagued by enormous hyper-inflation deriving the people from real economic and social progress.

Believing that:

  • The free market is delivering decentralised and innovative solutions.

  • Free market solutions can be implemented as viable alternatives to the currencies provided by government-controlled central banks.

  • The opportunities of crypto currency is yet to be fully discovered and in order for this to happen we need to embrace the technologies of tomorrow.

  • We should not be afraid of new technologies and phenomena such as crypto-currency, micro-financing and mobile-banking.

  • Free market-driven competition on the issue of hyperinflated currencies will give the average consumer the opportunity to choose between a variety of possible means of payment.

Calls for:

  1. A liberalisation of the money market by protecting the freedom to issue and use crypto-currency, which would secure consumers of the world the freedom to choose and protect millions of people from the atrocities of hyperinflation.

  2. An open minded approach to the relatively new phenomenon of crypto-currency.

  3. A political and legal clarification of what kind of tax crypto-currencies would be subject to.

  4. An agreement at European level stating that crypto-currencies should not undergo unfair tax-benefits let alone disadvantages.

  5. Governments to restrain for acting in ways which would intentionally encourage distrust or skepticism in crypto-currencies.

  6. The European Union to be frontrunner on digital technologies for the sake of millions’ well-being and social and economical uprising.
