The Skopje Spring Congress 2020 may decide:

1Let's liberalise the foreign exchange market

2We believe in the forces of the free market to ensure prosperity and freedom to all. Hence we are

3open-minded and have an optimistic approach to the new technological solutions delivered by
4the free market. We believe the foreign exchange and money market should be liberalised to
5create viable alternatives to the currencies controlled by centralised institutions, as it will e.g.
6secure the opportunity of economic growth and monetary stability in countries plagued by
7hyperinflation. We will be frontrunners on digital technologies in order to secure social and
8economic benefits for millions of people.

9Considering that:

  • 10A well-functioning currency controlled by a politically independent central bank is possible

11and can produce low and stable inflation rates.

  • 12Several countries are plagued by enormous hyper-inflation deriving the people from real

    13economic and social progress.

14

15Believing that:

  • 16The free market is delivering decentralised and innovative solutions.

  • 17Free market solutions can be implemented as viable alternatives to the currencies

    18provided by government-controlled central banks.

  • 19The opportunities of crypto currency is yet to be fully discovered and in order for this to

20happen we need to embrace the technologies of tomorrow.

  • 21We should not be afraid of new technologies and phenomena such as crypto-currency,

    22micro-financing and mobile-banking.

  • 23Free market-driven competition on the issue of hyperinflated currencies will give the

24average consumer the opportunity to choose between a variety of possible means of
    25payment.

26

27

28Calls for:

  1. 1.

29A liberalisation of the money market by protecting the freedom to issue and use
30crypto-currency, which would secure consumers of the world the freedom to choose and
31protect millions of people from the atrocities of hyperinflation.

  2. 2.

32An open minded approach to the relatively new phenomenon of crypto-currency.

  3. 3.

33A political and legal clarification of what kind of tax crypto-currencies would be subject to.

  4. 4.

34An agreement at European level stating that crypto-currencies should not undergo unfair
    35tax-benefits let alone disadvantages.

  5. 5.

36Governments to restrain for acting in ways which would intentionally encourage distrust or
    37skepticism in crypto-currencies.

  6. 6.

38The European Union to be frontrunner on digital technologies for the sake of millions’
39well-being and social and economical uprising.
